The Salvation Army Renton Rotary stands out as a beacon of hope in the food bank landscape, earning praise from patrons who appreciate its compassionate service and the quality of its offerings. Located at 206 S Tobin St in Renton, WA, this food bank excels in providing not just essential food supplies but also a welcoming atmosphere. Customer reviews highlight the thoughtful approach to food distribution, especially during the COVID era, where pre-packed baskets contain a variety of items, from fresh milk and meats to nutritious fruits and vegetables. Todd Brusa, a dedicated reviewer, remarked on the balance of quality versus quantity, noting that many other food banks often rely on processed items. The mention of friendly and helpful staff echoes throughout multiple testimonials, showcasing a commitment to community service. While some users, like Beverly Mora, noted minor concerns about staff demeanor, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive. The testimonials reflect gratitude and an appreciation for the dedicated people behind the operations. this is probably one of the best food banks I've been to in Arizona, California and Washington. They put the basket together for you because of covid and gave you so many different things including fresh milk and meats along with deserts and canned goods. Fresh fruits and vegetables. A lot of other food banks seem to just give a lot of junk food. The staff were very friendly and showing me where and what to do as it was my first time and I will definitely go back. I write honest reviews and if you agree with this please hit the like button.

The atmosphere is okay, sometimes the people at the desk act. A little like they're better than everyone else. But I ignore that they are very helpful. People and a great place to get food if needed.

This Renton food back is so very generous and kind. Thank you too all the people and stores that donate to people who have little or no food. They are always accommodating, they don't pass judgement and they never deny help to anyone. I believe the people that work in the food area are volunteering their valuable time to help others in need. I have been going there on and off for several years when needed and was never turned away. I just want to say thank you so very much. Also without t this food bank among many many others in this area IE, Maple Valley, Black Diamond , Federal Way,. So many people like my senior citizen father and other family members would not have fresh fruit or vegetables, milk , eggs. Etc.. Without all the generous donations including money! Again I .say you all are appreciated and thank you. God bless you all.

This place is cool. Come on a Friday you can just walk-in and they have all kinds of bread on shelves that you can take home. Muffins banana, bagels. Yummy stuff! I got garlic bread, sour dough, muffins, jalapeno cheese bagels, pretzel buns, English muffins, wheat bread. Me and the kids ate it for a while. Didn’t have to buy any bread. Thank you! I appreciate it!
